White Paper on Uniform Civil Code is a must.

Mumbai, July 19 India is full of diversities and therefore bringing about a white paper on the Uniform Civil Code is a must keeping in view of its traditions, social customs and culture.
This was expressed by Sarman Nagele, Senior Journalist and Founder Editor of MPPOST during a discussion of Uniform Civil Code organized under the aegis of Indian Institute of Public Administration - IIPA. The IIPA Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh Chapter Chairman, Former Chief Secretary and Senior IAS Officer KK Sethi introduced the topic.
Highlighting the provisions of Article 25 and 26, Nagele said that Constitutional amendment is required for this.
Several officers including Former Senior IAS officer and IIPA Secretary Shri DP Tiwari, Former Madhya Pradesh DGP Arun Gurtu presented their views on Uniform Civil Code.
